FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 17, 2002 DYNAMIC RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE
COMPANY OPENS NEW OFFICE
In response to a strong home-buyer
market, the largest independent real estate firm in the East Bay is opening a
new office in Oakland. Red Oak Realty’s newest office is located at
2099 Pleasant Valley at Broadway. “We
are excited to have a significant presence in the neighborhoods of Rockridge,
Piedmont Avenue and Temescal,” explains Laurie Capitelli, Sales Manager.
“Red Oak has been representing Oakland clients for over 26 years . We
felt it was time to have a more visible presence in that market.” Red Oak Realty opened its doors in
1976 and is owned and operated today by its original 3 founders. For many years,
the company, with two offices in Berkeley, has been named by The San Francisco
Business Times as one of the “Most Productive 25 Real Estate Companies” in
the greater Bay Area. The company serves the East Bay, including the communities
of Oakland, Piedmont, Berkeley, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito and Richmond. In
2000, readers of the Hills Newspaper Group voted Red Oak Realty the
“Best Real Estate Company” in the East Bay. The new office is located in a
renovated retail store and incorporates sustainable and recycled materials, such
as bamboo flooring in the reception area. Energy conservation is achieved by
utilizing energy efficient lighting, window treatments, and efficient
heating/cooling systems. The architect, Matthew Friedman, created a warm and
welcoming environment with the use of wood tones with other materials and warm
colors. White mahogany and ebonized countertops provide a
counter-balance to the building’s modern style with its chrome and glass. On display are historic black and white
photographs of the various neighborhoods the firm represents. As in the Berkeley offices, there will also be a rotating art gallery featuring local
artists. ### |
