Important note: My long-standing policy is that I do not personally represent a buyer and a seller on the same transaction. It is not uncommon, illegal or unethical to do so; in fact, many agents will seek to represent a buyer for their own listings specifically in order to avoid having to share the commission. However, the first obligation of agency is to put your client's interests ahead of your own. In these situations I feel there is simply too much opportunity for conflict of interest.  Therefore, if I list your home and find a buyer, I will refer that buyer to another agent. You can have confidence that I will be using my skills and experience to focus on your needs and looking after your best interests, whether you are a buyer or a seller.
